Dr. Mark Simpson graduated from the University of Dayton with Honors. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. His continued quest for excellence has resulted in his selection as America’s Top Dentist every year since 2002. Recognized as a leader in dentistry, he lectures nationally and internationally on topics including implants, cosmetics and practice management. Dr. Mark also provides on-site training courses at Simpson Dental Associates for dentists around the country. His extensive knowledge of all aspects of dentistry has led to his reputation as one of the nation’s most talented dentists. Dr. Mark has incorporated the very latest technology in dentistry to provide the highest level of care.
Dr. Mark’s wife, Connie, is a dental hygienist and bookkeeper. She volunteers at the Kanawha County Humane Association animal shelter and plays tennis. His son, Cory Simpson, is a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer serving as chief trial counsel in Heidelberg, Germany. Cory graduated from WVU School of Law in 2003. He served a year in Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne from Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Dr. Mark enjoys ice skating, snow and water skiing, boating, racing cars and collecting model trains.

Dr. Christen Simpson received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University. She continually strives to be on the forefront of dentistry and keeps abreast of all the new technologies. These advances in dentistry improve treatment for her patients. She is known for her compassion, gentle touch and caring approach to each patient she treats.
Dr. Christen is also active in the community as a part of the American Cancer Society, Charleston Area Alliances’ Generation Charleston, Junior League and serves on the board for the American Heart Association. Dr Christen Simpson was selected to the Young Guns Class of 2009. Young Guns is a group of upcoming, select professionals who are community movers and strive to make West Virginia great. She is happy to be the third generation of Simpson dentists carrying on the tradition of generations of smiles!
