Welcome to Simpson Dental Associates (SDA)

Thank you for visiting the website of Simpson Dental Associates, the practice of Dr. Mark W. Simpson and Dr. Christen K. Simpson. Since 1948, we have been a prominent dental practice in the Charleston and Ravenswood, West Virginia communities, and this year we are celebrating 65 years of exceptional service! We encourage you to look through our website, or our sister office's website: www.ravenswoodfamilydental.com, to see what makes us your number-one choice in dental care providers.

Our friendly dental professionals strive to achieve the best results for our patients, and we are dedicated to researching and employing the latest technology. In fact, we are the only dental practice in the Charleston area with an in-house dental laboratory, which means we are able to fabricate your customized restorations for you! We use only the highest quality, state-of-the-art materials and equipment to provide you with tomorrow's dentistry today! We offer:

All-Ceramic Crowns

To fix a tooth that is decayed, damaged or cracked, our dentists glad to place an all-ceramic crown over your existing tooth. This all-ceramic permanent covering is a great-looking solution to fix your smile.

Dental Implants

If you have a severely damaged or missing tooth, one of our dentists may recommend that you get a dental implant. A metal post will be permanently placed in the space, and an artificial, natural-looking prosthetic tooth will be attached to this post.

Periodontics

Our dentists are well trained in the area of periodontics. They provide periodontal evaluations in order to detect gum disease, which is usually caused by plaque.

Endodontics/Root Canal Therapy

When the pulp in the central part of a tooth decays, the patient will then need a root canal. During this procedure, one of our dentists extracts the decayed pulp, reshapes the canal and replaces the pulp with strengthening filler. A root canal will help you preserve and keep your natural tooth, thereby avoiding a tooth extraction.

Sedation Dentistry

Our office offers sedation dentistry in order to calm patients who are severely anxious about visiting the dentist. Endorsed by the American Dental Association, this is a safe way to ease patients' fears.

Ceramic or Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin prosthetic "shells" that are placed on existing teeth. Made of ceramic or porcelain, they are bonded to the front surfaces of teeth to correct chips, misalignments or discoloration.

We feel our modern facilities and cutting-edge techniques ensure you are receiving the quality dental care you and your family deserve! Thank you for your interest in our practice. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
